30 day Challenge Update
Ok so my first 30 days, well 31 days is up today and I have marked my progress on a calendar!
Eighteen days marked off and that sets the bar for the next 30 days for me. Eventually I want to be in the habit of doing some physical exercise daily granted I am healthy and not sick or needing to rest. One of the best things I have started doing is a morning routine that is not rigorous but gives me a good start to my day focusing on mental, spiritual and physical health and even if I don’t do anything more strenuous as far as physical activity is concerned this routine I would love to turn into a daily habit.
Morning Meditation (usually nude, basking in the sun rays that come through my blinds in the morning) Arizona sunrises and mornings are usually very bright and beautiful. Sunlight and the heat is energy that I like to take into my myself and my body and it also helps me visualize myself generating energy for my body and mind for the day ahead of me.
Yoga Meditation…..A few sets of sun salutation flows and some affirmations on being open to life and love. These flows gets the heart pumping and the body working a bit and I also focus on breathing techniques and throw in push ups in each set. I will pick a couple of different balancing poses and focus on balance of my inner energies and balance and connecting of higher and lower self for the day. So already by now I’ve got a nice full body workout in.
Stretching, Abs and push ups after the yoga, usually by now push ups on my knees and I do as many until I get tired and my arms are about to give out.
Sometimes I may get in the mood to dance around the room a bit, however after the above I am usually ready to start my day and that may include going to do a full workout at the gym or going to workout in nature outdoors. This whole routine can easily take about 30 min and anybody can set up their own type of morning routine which doesn’t have to be time consuming, yet still gets your body physically active
I do plan to blog about different various workout regimens since I did come up with new ways to work out including running hills, stadium stairs, sprints, plyometrics, dance and home body weight exercises!!
My nutritional challenge…I was pretty much on point at home as usual….My trip to Cali…I kinda fell off, but I did focus on getting something healthy into my body as much as I could and I didn’t really eat too much. Ate out alot and just enjoyed my food
